Implantology
Effective and decisive dental implant
We perform dental implants with a dedicated operating room: we put technologies and skills at your disposal to restore your smile to its ideal condition.
In dentistry, dental implant is a procedure that allows you to replace missing teeth through the use of roots and artificial teeth.
Tooth loss can be due to various causes, such as trauma, tooth decay or periodontal disease. Dental implant treatments allow you to solve problems relating to masticatory function and aesthetic performance.
How dental implantology works
A dental implant can be defined as an “artificial root of the tooth”, as it is anchored to the jaw bone, thus becoming a natural root for fixing crowns, bridges or prostheses.
In fact, implantology allows the integration of a biocompatible metal (titanium) into human tissue (bone). It is a treatment suitable for everyone, without age limits.
Thanks to the use of the latest generation implants (Straumann Slactive implants), the operation can also be performed on diabetic patients and patients with cardiovascular diseases.
Our method
The results that we guarantee to our patients depend on a study method refined over the years, which allows us to make the most of the skills of our doctors and the technologies available.
We develop a personalized treatment path for each patient, choosing the most suitable dental implants to restore teeth.
REPLACEMENT OF A TOOTH – In the case of only one missing tooth, if the adjacent teeth are healthy, it is advisable to resort to the insertion of a dental implant. In this case the implant does not touch the adjacent teeth, as it is not necessary to perform a bridge.
The artificial tooth consists of an implant, abutment and crown. To place a dental crown it is necessary to have supports; once the implant is in place, it will act as a support for the crown.
REPLACEMENT OF THREE TEETH – In the case of several missing teeth, the implants have the function of bearers of the bridge. In these cases, the use of dental implants allows you to replace more lost teeth with implants, without touching the remaining healthy teeth.
REPLACEMENT OF THE COMPLETE ARCH – In the event of the lack of the entire arch (edentulous jaw), the dental implants act as bearers of the bridge; 6 to 8 implants are therefore needed to have a fixed work of 12 ceramic crowns.
The know-how of our experts allows us to complete the dental implant surgery with a procedure that can be compared to the extraction of a molar in terms of discomfort and duration.
The implant insertion procedure is performed under local anesthesia. After a pause of 3-4 weeks, to allow bone integration, the abutments (abutments) are screwed onto the implants, i.e. the “pins” that protrude from the gum and onto which the porcelain crowns will be cemented or screwed, exactly as if they were stumps of natural teeth.
In certain cases, the use of the most modern techniques allows us to use the implants immediately: it thus becomes possible to place the implants in the bone, screw the abutments and place the temporary teeth on them, all in a single session.
Dental Veneers
Transform your smile with dental veneers, thin yet powerful coverings designed to correct imperfections and give you a bright and attractive smile. Dental veneers are a versatile solution to enhance the aesthetics of your teeth naturally and durably.
Dental Veneers
Ceramic Dental Veneers for a Perfect Smile
We specialize in the application of dental veneers: we enhance your smile quickly and without any discomfort!
Thanks to dental veneers, we can address issues such as teeth yellowing, spaced teeth, broken or worn teeth, as well as correct minor misalignments of incisor teeth.
What are dental veneers?
Dental veneers are thin ceramic laminates used to cover the outer surface of teeth, allowing the resolution of aesthetic and functional issues without affecting the dental structure. The expertise of our professionals enables us to use veneers to intervene in the shape, size, brightness, and color of teeth.
Ceramic veneers are considered the most visually pleasing conservative solution because the treatment involves adding a thin layer of ceramic that, while changing the shape and color, allows light to shine through, resulting in a natural and nearly invisible outcome, almost identical to a natural tooth.
Our method
The aesthetic outcome of the veneers we apply depends on a refined working method developed over the years. Our philosophy leads us to preserve the natural structure of the tooth whenever possible. For years, we have been using adhesive aesthetic techniques with ceramic materials crafted in our in-house laboratory.
For each patient, we initiate the treatment with a thorough analysis of the starting situation using photos, study models, and X-rays. We also utilize 3D scanning technologies inside the mouth to precisely define the smile line, color, and shape.
Based on the gathered information, we formulate a comprehensive clinical evaluation, including diagnostic wax-up, to immediately have an idea of the final result.
The application of ceramic dental veneers requires 2-3 appointments. In the case of not severely misaligned teeth, there is no need to remove much dental substance. Moreover, the technique is painless, does not require anesthesia, and ensures long-lasting results due to the strong adhesive bond formed between the ceramic and the tooth enamel.

Oral surgery for the restoration of balance
We specialize in oral surgical interventions to restore the optimal balance of the mouth and teeth. Oral surgery encompasses all necessary surgical procedures to address pathologies and disorders of the oral cavity, in cases where pharmaceutical treatments and non-surgical options prove ineffective. The purpose of this branch of medicine is to bring the mouth into an ideal balance, both aesthetically and functionally.
One of the most common dental surgical procedures is tooth extraction, which is performed under local anesthesia.
Purposes of Oral Surgery
Disorders of the oral cavity can have long-term effects on teeth, gums, and jawbones. For example, in the case of inflammatory tissue processes, deep cavities, and the development of wisdom teeth. To definitively address these problems, oral surgery may be necessary.
This branch of surgery also includes periodontology and implantology, specializations that are continually evolving in both techniques and instrumentation.
Our Approach
Our patients are cared for by teams of professionals with proven experience and continuous training, capable of performing every type of oral surgical intervention to the highest standard. The expertise of our specialists allows us to develop effective clinical solutions, successfully intervening even in challenging situations.
The most common interventions include:
- Tooth extractions
- Extractions of partially and fully impacted teeth in the bone
- Surgical treatment of minor odontogenic infections such as abscesses and phlegmons
- Removal of labial or lingual frenula correlated with periodontal problems or the presence of diastema
- Gingivectomies and crown lengthening, i.e., the removal of excess gingival tissue
- Regularization of bone ridges after extractions
- Osteotomies
CT Scan (Computerized Axial Tomography)
We understand the importance of precise diagnosis for effective treatment. Our advanced CT scan provides detailed images for an accurate evaluation of dental conditions. This state-of-the-art diagnostic tool allows us to plan customized treatments, optimizing precision and safety in the process.

Computer-guided implantology
In the field of dentistry, advanced techniques have recently emerged that rely on the use of technology and derive benefits from it. Computer-guided (or assisted) implantology, for example, allows for the computer simulation of implant insertion. This not only enables a virtual processing of the area where the implants will be placed but also establishes their precise positioning and inclination. So, what are its advantages? In which cases is it preferable to use it, and in which others is it better to proceed with the traditional approach?
How computer-guided implantology works
Computer-guided implantology is based on careful digital planning of the procedure and the use of specific guides that assist the surgeon during the implant placement phase in the bone. 3D CT scans are used to acquire 3D images of the bone, which are subsequently employed for detailed digital planning to identify the precise points in the bone where the implants will be inserted on the day of the procedure. The uniqueness of computer-guided implantology lies particularly in the execution of the procedure. This process involves creating a surgical template based on the acquired and processed data.
Computer-guided implantology involves implant insertion with a surgical guide obtained from a 3D printer and planned using a Computerized Tomography analysis software (Codiagnostix®).
Computer-guided implantology allows for the precise insertion of implants, minimizing the invasiveness of the surgical procedure and enabling the creation of accurate temporaries before the surgical intervention. All of this results in less discomfort for the patient and a better final outcome.

Minimally Invasive Dental Hygiene
New techniques and protocols for minimally invasive dental hygiene:
In our dental practice, we offer dental hygiene sessions using an innovative tool that emits a high-powered spray combining air, water, and an ultra-fine powder of erythritol (non-cariogenic sugar). This allows for a thorough cleansing of all oral bacteria without the need for rotating or ultrasonic instruments, significantly reducing discomfort and sensitivity associated with traditional practices. The cleaning is minimally invasive and gentle yet effective, removing extrinsic stains and bacterial plaque, leaving a smooth and glossy enamel sensation without the discomfort of traditional dental hygiene sessions.
This practice is particularly suitable for cases with a higher plaque buildup and lower significant tartar accumulation, especially when there is recurrent gum inflammation related to plaque.
The fundamental principles of prevention include:
- Home dental care and prevention;
- Dietary hygiene;
- Regular check-up visits.
Prevention involves periodic professional teeth cleaning sessions tailored to the individual needs of the patient, performed by a trained dental hygienist. During these sessions, plaque, pigments, and tartar that cannot be effectively removed through daily hygiene practices are removed. The hygienist will also educate the patient on implementing effective oral hygiene practices independently. At the end of the therapy, a follow-up visit schedule will be established with the patient to maintain the achieved results over time.
